BLOCK J IV - THE ÚSTÍ BARRACKS

The ''Ústí (Aussig) Barracks'', originally the 'Shleuse', later the central store of clothing from the luggage confiscated from the prisoners. Good quality items were being sent to the Reich, the other came into the schops for prisoners. Next to the ramparts at these barracks, two mass executions were performed in early 1942: on Jaunary 10, nine prisoners were hanged, and on February 2, seven prisoners.
